Photographing Vickie at Matheson Hammock Park gave me the opportunity to explore my "inner child." She wanted me to capture with my lens a casual, nature-loving look.
My mind went wild and, to be honest, I was a bit scared. She knew exactly what she wanted and nothing else. I let my imagination run free and, with her help, we got the incredible images you are about to see. The lighting and sun flare were just amazing at the park. Vickie is a little girl trapped in a woman's body; playful, sweet, kind and full of creativity. That inner child that we all have inside was let loose to play, climb trees, and roam in the wilderness of Matheson Hammock. I was honored to capture that with my camera. As you look at these portraits of Vickie, I invite you to call out to that inner child of yours. Take the time to smell the flowers, play, love, laugh and be joyful. Stop, look around you and enjoy the beautiful place God gave us called Planer Earth!
